CRAFTA® Foundations (Level 1a)

Po prvi puta na ove prostore dovodimo prestižnu njemačku akademiju CRAFTA (Cranio Facial Therapy Academy).

Ovi tečajevi su razvijeni kako bi zadovoljili interese i fizioterapeuta i manualnih terapeuta, zajedno s drugim disciplinama koje liječe ovu specifičnu skupinu pacijenata. Tu spadaju i liječnici opće prakse, stomatolozi i ortodonti.

 

CRAFTA Foundations sastoji se od 2 modula po 5 dana. Level 1a i Level 1b (Oba modula se upisuju zajedno i kotizacija vrijedi za svih 10 dana edukacije). Između Levela 1a i Levela 1b je potrebno položiti online modul.

 

Ukupna cijena CRAFTA foundations modula (level 1a i level 1b) iznosi 2500 EUR za ranu prijavu do 30.4.2023. Cijena za kasnu prijavu iznosi 2800 EUR.

Level 1b će se održati u Zagrebu 7. – 11.2.2024.

Ciljevi CRAFTA®

 

-Strukturiranje međunarodne edukacije i stalne stručne edukacije za liječenje i vođenje bolesnika s temporomandibularnim, kraniofacijalnim disfunkcijama i bolovima, što je više moguće na temelju najboljih dostupnih dokaza.

-Nudi međunarodne tečajeve kako bi zdravstvenim profesijama (npr. liječnici, stomatolozi, ortodonti, specijalisti ortopedi, logopedi) pružili priliku da doprinesu svom znanju.

-Upravljanje kvalitetom i osiguranje kvalitete edukacije i primjene kraniofacijalne terapije.

-Promicati interdisciplinarni rad i suradnju sa stomatolozima, specijalistima ortopedima, ORL specijalistima, neurokirurzima i drugim specijalistima koji rade s ovom specifičnom grupom pacijenata.

-Definiranje standarda kvalitete uglavnom za fizioterapeute i manualne terapeute, ali i druge zainteresirane zdravstvene struke.

-Poticati i nadzirati istraživačke projekte u području TMJ-/ boli u glavi i vratu

-Nadzor trenutnih i budućih istraživačkih projekata koji su usmjereni na fizikalnu i manualnu terapiju koje organizira i podržava CRAFTA®.

-Odnosi s javnošću i komunikacija s drugim strukovnim udrugama.

 

Trenutno je najvažniji cilj kontinuirana edukacija fizikalnih i manualnih terapeuta sa sljedećim sadržajima:

-Specijalizirana procjena bolesnika s bolovima u glavi/vratu i licu

Neovisne analize procjena i interpretacija ovih rezultata korištenjem poznatih strategija kliničkog zaključivanja

-Razvijanje dugoročnih planova liječenja i upravljanja temeljenih na dokazima

-Specijalizirane komunikacijske vještine koje su relevantne u terapijskim sesijama, kao i u komunikaciji s drugim disciplinama u raspravama za pronalaženje konsenzusa za dijagnozu i liječenje.

 

Ova akademija će zadovoljiti sve Vaše potrebe za rješavanje problematike cerviko-cefalne i temporomandibularne regije.

 

 

Level 1a – Temporomandibular region

Temporomandibular dysfunction and its functional relationships

This seminar focuses on the subjective and physical examination, assessment and treatment techniques of the temporomandibular region. Updated information about the neurobiological and anatomical function of the temporomandibular region will also be presented.

 

Theory:

• Functional (neuro-)anatomical and pathophysiology
• Pathology
• Differential diagnosis

Practical:

• Palpation of reference points
• Physical examination
• Treatment techniques
• Treatment setup – in general and in relationship to syndromes
• Patient treatment with a follow-up – live in class (where possible)

 

 

Level 1b  – Craniofacial region

Craniofacial Dysfunctions and Functional Relations

This seminar focuses on the classification of pain mechanisms, assessment, and treatment techniques of the neuro- and viscerocranium. It also gives an update on neurobiological and anatomical function of the cranium.

This course prioritizes craniofacial dysfunctions and functional relationships, the function of the cranium including physical and movement pattern adaptations (craniodynamics) using evidence based skills.

 

Theory:

• General phylogenesis and ontogenesis
• Craniodynamics
• Functional dynamics of the neurocranium and viscerocranium
• Clinical patterns of the cranial region and its pain mechanisms

Practical:

• Palpation of the cranium and the facial skeleton
• Physical examination of the craniofacial complex
• Inspection, introduction to clinimetrics, passive assessment and, treatment techniques
• Management of craniofacial syndromes in children and adults

INSTRUCTOR:

Christian Voith was born in Klagenfurt/Austria. He graduated from the Academy for Physiotherapy in 1990.

Afterwards he worked in different clinics and hospitals in Germany for ten years. During this time, he participated in a postgraduate Manual Therapy program (certificate 1994), and graduated at the  European Academy for Orthopedic Manual Therapy in Germany with the OMT (IFOMPT)–Diploma in 1997.

1998 he began his CRAFTA® education in clinical management of temporomandibular, craniocervical and craniofacial dysfunction and pain.

From 1992 he also used to teach at different schools for physical therapy (Bad Säckingen/ Germany, Klagenfurt/ Austria). During this time, he successfully completed an educational certificate for qualified teachers. He was also in the teaching team of the Kaltenborn-Evjenth-concept in Orthopedic Manual Therapy.

Since his return to Klagenfurt in 1999 he works in his own clinic. Here he works with orthopedic patients and treats patients after sports injuries.
He is specifically interested in the treatment of patients with dysfunctions and pain in the craniocervical and craniofacial region. Furthermore, he treats children with complaints in this region.

He is also a court certified expert witness for physical therapy. Since 2008 he is an official CRAFTA® teacher and teaches in numerous international teaching centers. He is a member of the CRAFTA® education board and owners board.
